Jeff and Amanda are one of a kind.  They are the original dynamic duo, bringing energy, spunk, and JOY to the work that they do.  Their professionalism, mixed with their fun style, merges the best of both worlds, putting their subjects at ease immediately.  Two years before I was engaged, I got to watch Jeff and Amanda in action at a wedding in Charleston.  Their unimposing, fly on the wall approach to capturing the spontaneity of the day was unlike anything I had ever seen in wedding photographers.  And their finished album was beyond captivating.  Their work is top notch. Needless to say, two years later, when my now husband and I were planning our wedding, I knew my first choice for our photographers.  From day one of correspondence, Jeff and Amanda were easy to talk to and quick to respond.  They flew up to our wedding in New Jersey, where Jeff took all the photos and Amanda did video. Their use of natural light, their openness to suggestions, their gentle guidance, and their artsy vision made our wedding day photography the easiest and most fun experience any bride or groom or bridal party has ever had. Looking back on our day, we are SO grateful that we did not compromise on our first choice for photographers.  We are also so grateful that we have not only the still life images, frozen in time, but also the incredible videos to document our day.  The video that Dreampop Media produced had us sobbing, laughing, simply mesmerized.  It showed us pieces of our day that we never would have seen.  Gestures, exchanges, precious moments.  At the end of your wedding day, after all the big checks are written, you really only take home three things:  your spouse, the rings, and the photography.  Make sure you choose these wisely and invest properly :)   - Mary Jean Jones

When it came to what was important at our wedding...we knew that pictures were at the top of the list.  Everything else is something that you/your guests will use for a few hours...but this is what's forever!  Before we even booked a venue, we made sure that Jeff and Amanda were available on the date that we wanted--we knew we had to have them as our photographers.  We were initially on the fence about a video (didn't really see the need and we were working on a fixed budget).  After speaking with a few other brides, we made cuts in other areas to also hire them to do our video, and it was one of the best wedding decisions (other than marrying each other!) that we made.  They do an incredible job of not focusing on all the silly details (they are not the people to hire if all you want is a bunch of pictures of flowers and decorations...they actually focus on the couple and the wedding) and making you kinda forget that they're even there. Our pictures and video aren't cheesy, they aren't forced, and they aren't canned.  We were beyond happy with how they turned out...I honestly feel like I'm reliving our wedding day every time I look at either of them.  The pictures are great for the wall and sharing, and our video makes us happy cry and laugh every time we watch it.  We've had a lot of comments from friends and family that you can really tell how much love there is between us and how much fun everyone had from watching the video and seeing the pictures.  I can't imagine a better compliment to Dreampop than that.  - Kalan Blair

Jeff and Amanda photographed our wedding in October 2011. We heard of them through a few friends. After perusing their website, we quickly fell in love with the creativity and beautiful editing of their photos and booked them as soon as we could.   In the crazy hustle and bustle of our wedding day, there was nothing better than knowing our photography duo, was on point. Unless we were looking for a specific group shot, we hardly noticed they were there. (Which was kind of a shame because they are so fun we wanted a second reception where they attended as guests!) And yet, they captured the sweetest, most fun moments of the entire day. When we looked through our disc of photos months after our wedding day, we relived the day through so many different perspectives and it was awesome. They truly caught the essence of the day. The only regret I have is not creating room in our budget for video. The day was filled with our family and closest friends celebrating and I wish we had captured the fun on video. I would love to hear the laughter and see the dancing again! Some of my favorite photos from the day were those of my Dad, my sister, and me dancing during the Father/Daughter dance, but I really wish those moments had been caught on video too.    We love(d) the moments captured and the creativity of each shot, but we also love(d) the way in which they were edited. Just like Jeff and Amanda, our pictures were bright and fun with crisp light and clean lines, but they didn't feel over processed at all.    We've laid claim on Jeff and Amanda as our lifetime family photographers (and even convinced them to be our friends! WIN!). They take pictures of our newborns, our little family, our parents and grandparents. Our siblings have already planned for Jeff and Amanda to photograph their future weddings. They're there for all of our big events. We love their easy-going, laid-back, fun personalities, but we also appreciate how well they work together as a team and how efficiently they can handle a crowd of rowdy groomsmen or a large group photo. They know how to do their job, they know how and when to get down to serious business, but they're also great about going with the flow. On a crazy wedding day or during a newborn shoot, you want a team who can stand their ground and run the show, but who also know when to stand back and capture the magic that unfolds.    I could write for days about our experiences working with Jeff and Amanda over the last four years. They are a great team, fun to work with, and truly talented.  - Sarah Pankus
